Journal of Prophetic Social Welfare (JPSW) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing theoretical, empirical, and practice-based scholarship in social work and social welfare through prophetic perspectives. The journal explores how values of humanization, liberation, transcendence, social justice, human dignity, compassion, empowerment, and ethical responsibility can contribute to the development of contemporary social work theory, research, policy, and practice.
JPSW welcomes interdisciplinary contributions addressing social work, social welfare, social services, social policy, community development, humanitarian practice, faith-based social services, Islamic social work, and other related fields. The journal particularly encourages studies that critically examine the relationship between religious and ethical values, social transformation, and professional social work practice.
